The Optimum TM4010 is a robust, precision-engineered conventional lathe designed for general engineering, maintenance, and training applications. Featuring a rigid, ribbed cast-iron bed with hardened and ground guideways, it delivers excellent stability and machining accuracy. The TM4010 offers 8-speed spindle control, metric and imperial threading, and a powerful D1-5 camlock spindle with a 52mm bore. With a generous swing over bed and 1m between centres, it accommodates a wide range of workpieces. Safety features include emergency stops, overload protection, and CE-compliant controls. Supplied with a 3 & 4 jaw chucks, faceplate, German style quick-change toolpost, fixed and travelling steadies, coolant system, chip tray & Newall (UK) Digital Readout System fitted.
