Product overview

About this machine.

Optimum Maschinen is a respected German company known for manufacturing high-quality machine tools built to strict European standards. Since its founding in 2003, Optimum has become a trusted name in the metalworking industry, offering a wide range of equipment including metal lathes, milling machines, drilling machines, and grinding tools. Designed in Germany and engineered for precision, reliability, and durability, Optimum machines are used across workshops, training centres, and industrial environments throughout Europe and beyond. Their products are developed with a strong emphasis on innovation, safety, and compliance with European CE regulations, ensuring exceptional performance and long service life.

The Optimum AP Arbor presses are a series of nominal tonnage manual arbor presses, making them one of the most robust arbor press options in their class. Built from solid cast construction and engineered for long-term reliability, the AP Arbor presses are ideal for demanding workshop applications like broaching, staking, pressing bearings, and more. Complete with a precision-machined rack and gear mechanism and a generous sized lever arm, the AP arbor series transform manual effort into serious force. Under typical hand operation, they comfortably deliver high tonnage of pressing force and have the ability to handle higher pressure situations when additional leverage is applied. This means you get a machine that performs effortlessly for routine work while still offering the muscle for tougher jobs when extra leverage or assistance is applied. These are heavy-duty manual arbor presses, engineered for precision tasks in mechanical workshops and repair shops. Their cast-iron construction provides robust stability for pressing bearings, bushings, pins, and spindles
