About this machine.
Optimum Maschinen is a respected German company known for manufacturing high-quality machine tools built to strict European standards. Since its founding in 2003, Optimum has become a trusted name in the metalworking industry, offering a wide range of equipment including metal lathes, milling machines, drilling machines, and grinding tools. Designed in Germany and engineered for precision, reliability, and durability, Optimum machines are used across workshops, training centres, and industrial environments throughout Europe and beyond. Their products are developed with a strong emphasis on innovation, safety, and compliance with European CE regulations, ensuring exceptional performance and long service life.
The Optimum PD8/12 is capable of being configured to either 8kN or 12kN capacity. This manual arbor press is one of the most robust arbor presses in its class. Built from solid cast construction and engineered for long-term reliability, the PD8/12 is ideal for demanding workshop applications. Complete with a precision-machined mechanism and a 500mm lever arm, the knee-lever design provides high pressing force with relatively low operator effort, while the adjustable working table allows the machine to be set up for different jobs. A solid cast construction and simple mechanical operation make the PD 8/12 well suited to general workshop and engineering use.
