Optimum's manual 5C collet chucks are designed to provide secure and accurate clamping for a variety of workpieces, including round, hexagonal, and square shapes. These chucks are compatible with Optimum lathes featuring Camlock spindles, such as D1-4, D1-5, D1-6, and D1-8, as well as plain back mount configurations. They offer a rotation accuracy of 0.02 mm, ensuring high precision in machining operations.

Features:

  • Designed for use with 5C collets, accommodating sizes from 3 mm to 25 mm. Collets are sold separately.
  • Available in both Camlock (D1-4, D1-5, D1-6, D1-8) and plain back mount versions, providing flexibility to suit different lathe configurations.
  • Utilizes a square drive key to tighten the front mounted 5C collets, ensuring a firm grip on the workpiece.
  • Manufactured with high quality materials to withstand the rigors of machining and provide long lasting performance.
  • Additional hardware kits are available to assist in securing the chuck to your lathe, enhancing stability during operations.
