Popular 2 way angle, wide opening milling vice
NZ Prepared, installed and supported nationwide by Scott Machinery.
Product overview
About this machine.
HOMGE manufactures precision workholding and inspection equipment built for workshop and production use. Their range includes machine vices, angle plates, sine tables, magnetic chucks and modular fixturing designed to deliver repeatable accuracy and solid clamping performance. Made in Taiwan using hardened and precision-ground components, HOMGE products are known for consistent quality, reliable alignment, and long service life in toolrooms, CNC machining, and general engineering environments. Suitable for both manual and CNC machines, HOMGE workholding is built to handle daily workshop use without unnecessary complexity.
The HOMGE HHY-100 Tilting Machine Vice is a wide-opening angle vice designed for machining operations where both increased clamping capacity and angular positioning are required. The tilting function allows the workpiece to be set quickly to the required angle, reducing the need for complex fixturing in milling and drilling applications. The HHY design combines a large jaw opening with a rigid cast body, making it suitable for holding larger components or multiple parts within a standard machine footprint. It offers similar construction and performance to HOMGE hydraulic vices, without the added hydraulic system, providing a simpler and lower-maintenance solution for general machining work.
Features:
- Tilting function allows accurate angle setting for milling and drilling operations
- Super wide jaw opening increases workholding capacity within a compact footprint
- Rigid cast construction with ground finish for stability and durability
- Hardened and ground slideways
- Hardened alloy steel jaws
- Base can swivel for flexible positioning on machine tables
- Large opening capacity (approx. 170 mm on HHY-100) for larger or multiple components
- Simple mechanical design with similar performance characteristics to hydraulic vices, without added maintenance
- Suitable for milling, drilling, and general angled machining applications
