460mm swing x 1500mm centres x 80mm bore, Premium quality lathe.
Quality Taiwanese Manufacturing
- Headstock spindle supported by two high grade taper roller precision bearings and a third high precision deep grove precision roller bearing.
- Spindle machined from forged alloy steel, hardened ground and dynamically balanced
- Gears are hardened and MAGG or Reishauer ground for extreme low hour noise levels
- Bed ways are induction hardened and precision ground
- Integrated automatic control for longitudinal and cross feeds, forward and reverse feeds
- Anti-float design backlash eliminator fitted in cross slide nut
- Camlock spindle with D1-8 nose
- Headstock clutches (using the original Matrix multiplate clutches)
- Automatic feed sensitive overload
- Turcite B coating between the bed and carriage
- Pressure lubrication system in headstock can ensure its lubrication and cooling when high speed cutting
