The Optimum CH50 with analogue dial gauge features a compact 50 mm housing, designed for quick, touch-free setup. It is used for fast and accurate Z axis reference setting or tool length calibration on CNC machines and DRO systems (e.g. milling or drilling tools without workpiece contact). The CH50 offers two knob controlled modes. In "calibration mode" the plunger travels to exactly 50.00 mm, enabling you to retract it and zero the dial indicator. In "use mode" allows over travel beyond zero, utilizing the full 3 mm dial range to detect plunge depth during tool contact.
