The Cosen M5 CNC bandsaw is a double swivel, angle cutting band saw for cutting structural material. This high production fully programmable bandsaw, which incorporates a massive base, sturdy saw frame, a 5HP drive motor, 34 mm wide blade and a user-friendly control station. The M5 band saw machine can handle a 310mm round and a 500mm width. It features a large-angle swivel, ranging from 30 degrees to 150 degrees, allowing the machine to cut at various angles. The machine offers a 2000mm stroke, which can be delivered in just 12 seconds, significantly saving feeding time. This bandsaw machine is specifically designed to cut structural materials, such as H-beams, I-beams, pipes, and channels. This saw is equipped with an automatic programming feature for cutting jobs, facilitating easy mass production. Cosen offers the latest in Touch Screen Control Technology, SNC-100. Coupled with a Mitsubishi PLC controller, the 10" Color Touch Screen allows for fast easy programming of any job. Utilizing the SNC-100 System the operator easily programs the cut length, angle and quantity desired. The SNC-100 System stores up to 100 cutting jobs and features Automatic Kerf Compensation for parts longer than a single index. The SNC-100 System also utilizes "Save-A-Blade" which retracts the material 2 mm from the blade at the end of each cut so the blade will not rub the material while the saw head moves up to allow the next index. All machine functions are controlled from the operator's station. The control panel is ergonomically designed and located for convenient use by the operator.
