The Fintek L16 16-gauge Pittsburgh-style lock former is a heavy duty, high capacity machine engineered for fabricators who need reliable forming performance on thicker material. Built for demanding HVAC ducting and general sheet metal work, it forms crisp, uniform Pittsburgh style joints on mild steel up to 16-gauge (1.6mm). Its precision machined steel forming head, featuring ground shafts, hardened forming rolls, and smooth needle bearing support, delivers consistent accuracy and long term durability under continuous production. The L16 operates on standard 3-phase power and produces strong, clean locks with minimal waste, typically using around 1 inch of material per joint, with a pocket depth adjustable between 5/16" and 3/8". With a forming speed of approximately 25 ft/min and a rugged industrial drive system, the Fintek L16 is a dependable workhorse for shops requiring high strength Pittsburgh seams in heavier gauge sheet metal.
