The TY-1640SV is a popular seller, suiting a large number of general turning applications. It has a small footprint but offers all the benefits of a heavy-duty solid casting, features typically associated with larger machines. This means you get a light, precision feel that is hard to achieve on bigger lathes, along with quality operation and an excellent finish.
