The Brierley ZB 25 was designed and produced in Llandudno Junction, North Wales by Brierley from the early 1960s onward Despite its modest size, this rugged, manually operated machine delivers excellent performance for sharpening HSS and carbide drills up to 25 mm (1″) in diameter The Brierley ZB 25 is a compact, durable, and precise drill grinder ideal for workshops, maintenance teams, and toolrooms seeking manual yet high-quality point sharpening for a broad range of drill diameters.
Features:
- Grinds drill sizes from 1 mm to 25 mm (approximately 1")
- Adjustable point angles from 40 to 180 degrees, suitable for standard and split-point drills
- Variable clearance angles up to 18 degrees to allow for fine tuned rake control
- 0-20 degree work head swivel for grinding angled or special points
- High precision 6-jaw chuck securely holds drills with minimal runout
- Lever operated feed for fast and consistent material removal
- Rotolin spindle bearing system ensures exceptional accuracy (runout +/-0.0002")
- Heavy duty cast iron construction gives vibration dampening
- Simple, manual operation, quick setup and intuitive use without CNC or electronics
