About this machine.
ProtoTRAK is a proven CNC control system developed specifically for toolroom and small-batch machining. Combining straightforward conversational programming with the flexibility of manual operation, ProtoTRAK provides an efficient and practical solution for one-off, prototype and low-volume production work.
The Z axis Electronic Handwheel allows manual movement of the head. It can be switched between coarse and fine. This is very helpful for setting tool height offsets etc.
Please note that when the Z axis EHW is activated, the quill scale is redundant. This is selectable on the control.
Placement and mounting brackets are at your discretion & care, as it can be installed anywhere you want it to be.
